Sliding rear dors? Pfft. Sliding driver’s doors are where it’s at!  Plus this is actually a Mini van, being only three inches longer than an NA MX5.

I would love to do what Rutledge Wood did - take a van like that, drop it onto a modern truck chassis, and an LS or SBC...

His is incredible. That’s a fairly common thing to do on the larger Metros, less with the mite as it’s a Monocoque.
